IntelliNet is a group of people working towards a smarter future with their intellectual endevours under the supervision and collaboration of Dr. Farooque Hassan Kumbhar. In this lab, mistakes are expected, respected, inspected and corrected. We believe that the future is smart devices and networks, which facilitate us and create numerous research opportunities. Here in IntelliNet, we develop intelligent systems for Next Generation Networks like Internet of Things, Name Data Networks, 5G Networks, etc. |
Our paper published in well-reputated top IEEE journal with IF. 9.47. F. H. Kumbhar, S. Y. Shin, "Novel Vehicular Compatibility based Ad-hoc Message Routing Scheme in the Internet of Vehicles using Machine Learning", IEEE Internet of Things Journal,"
Our first Impact Factor paper published under IntelliNet umbrella in Q1- IEEE Wireless Communications Letters (IF. 4.66). Ahmed, Rabia; Kumbhar, Farooque Hassan "VC^3 : A Novel Vehicular Compatibility-Based Cooperative Communications in 5G Networks"
2020 has been fruitful in terms of publications. We had papers in IEEE Communications Magazine, Springers Peer to Peer networks and applications, IEEE Wireless Communications Letters.
Dr. Farooque presented his work at a conference in KICS, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, Korea.
Dr. Farooque has accepted the position of Postdoc researcher on a funded project to work on Vehicular Networks communications, at KIT, South Korea
Our total BS alumni has become 21. The work quality has been improved from a simple project based FYPs to research based and applied research based FYPs.
Two of our students Mr. Muhammad Raza Nathani and Mr. Haider Hasan completed their MS program with flying colors by working hard in Machine learning and IPSec, respectively.
Mr. Khezar Hayat completed his MS program with flying colors by working in routing protocols for IoT. He managed to modify routing protocol for IoT i.e. RPL and implemented it in NS3 simulation.
Our first MS alumni, Mr. Syed Taha. Successfully carried out physical experiments on Etherium blockchain and trust management.
Finally, 1 year's hardwork paid off. 2 paid research assistants, 1 publication, 1 under writing and a completed project.
Now, Dr. Farooque Hassan Kumbhar is an HEC approved supervisor and accepting applications for MS, MPHIL and PhD students.
We have successfully acquired a high end powerful Dell T430 server and Dell Laptop. We have purchased a number of IoT sensors for monitoring renewable sources.
3 BS Groups under supervision of Dr. Farooque Hassan Kumbhar have successfully graduated.
HEC has approved a project on IoT based smart meter project to identify and monitor renewable energy sources.
Imagination is the highest form of research.
Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.
