Soo Young Shin (M’07–SM’17) received his Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from Seoul National University on 2006. He was with WiMAX Design Lab, Samsung Electronics, Suwon, South Korea from 2007 to 2010. He joined as full-time professor to School of Electronics, Kumoh National Institute of Technology, Gumi, South Korea from 2010. He is currently an Associate Professor. He was a post Doc. researcher at University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA at 2007. In addition, he was a visiting scholar to University of the British Columbia at 2017. Prof. Harpreet S. Dhillon

Harpreet S. Dhillon is an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering and the Elizabeth and James E. Turner Jr. ‘56 Faculty Fellow at Virginia Tech. He received his B.Tech. degree from IIT Guwahati in 2008, his M.S. degree from Virginia Tech in 2010, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013, all in electrical engineering. His research interests include communication theory, wireless networks, stochastic geometry, and machine learning. He is a Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher and a recipient of five best paper awards. He serves as an Editor for three IEEE journals.


Dr. Sukhdeep Singh

Sukhdeep Singh completed his Ph.D. in June 2016 from Electrical & Computer Engineering Department, Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea under guidance of Prof. Navrati Saxena in her lab, Mobile Ubiquitous Systems Information Center (MUSIC). He worked in 4G/5G mobile communications and published 4 research papers (2 SCI & 2 SCIE). He has been awarded '2016 Superior Research Award' by the dean of our department. During his Ph.D., he has also been associated with Samsung HQ, South Korea. He worked under Dr. Abhishek Roy (Principal Engineer, Samsung Electronics HQ, Suwon, South Korea). He joined Samsung Research Institute, Bangalore (SRI-B) from Sept. 01, 2016 as Chief Engineer. His work at SRI-B deals with system design of ultra modern networks i.e. 5G RAN/Core System Design and Cloud System Design (ONAP, ORAN, vRAN, Service Oriented Core, Network Slicing). Currently he is part of 5G Access Design Team. After joining SRI-B, he has published 13 Research Papers, 1 Guest Editorial, 2 Book Chapters and 3 Patents.
